Joe passed away due to complications after surgery he was 76.
He is survived by his wife Patricia L. Gannon of Shasta Lake City.
Joe was a long-time member of the Churn Creek Golf Course and Churn Creek Golf Association. He volunteered to run the weekend scramble tournaments and the Senior Thursday Morning scramble.
He will be missed by all his friends and family.

Joe was one of the best authors i have ever known.
His books were so real he put you right in
to the story like you were there...Stories
about when he was in the service other books
that were right here in Shasta county fishing
trips..camping...golf...if you would like to
read his books...they can be read at the club
room....will miss you in the mornings...but will
see you soon ....Marv
