James Thomas Dickerson

July 17, 1946 -March 13, 2020

Jim was born in Wheeling, West Virginia.  He married his lovely wife Linda on March 13, 1971, Jim passed away on their 49th anniversary. The running joke with Linda and Jim was that he was the one who could always remember and recite the date, and Linda could never remember, of course, now Linda says she will now never forget. Jim is survived by sons James Eric Dickerson, Bill Dickerson, Tom Dickerson, and two grandchildren, Jessie and James. He worked for Richard Heath and Associates (RHA).  He died from Pancreatic Cancer at Mercy Hospital in Redding. Sevices have been postponed until after the coronavirus ban is lifted. He will be missed by all.

Jim was a great friend to everyone at churn Creek, we will all miss him very much. When I first started golfing at churn Creek I didn't know anyone at all, and then I happened to meet Jim one day when I hit a terrible shot over into his fairway. He noticed I was playing alone and without hesitation asked if I'd like to join him, I told him I was a terrible golfer as u can tell by my last shot, and he just laughed and said yep that's golf. We were friends from then on. Jim I'll miss u buddy, we'll all miss u
