A
mass of Christian Burial for Tom Wardein 85, of Redding was held May
12th, 2015 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Redding. The Rev.
Mario Valmorida of the Church officiated the vigil/Rosary. Tom's final resting place is at
St Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Redding. Mr Wardein died Wednesday, May
6, 2015 at the River Valley Healthcare in Redding. He was born September
24, 1929 in Alton, Illinois, he moved to Shasta County 1993 from Upland
in Southern California. He was retired from Industrial sales and a
member and former Grand Knight of the Redding Council of Columbus as
well as a member of the 4th degree Assembly. Tom enjoyed golf and was a
active member at the Churn Creek Golf Course for many years where he
participated in many of the club events.
