Dan Cranfill, 60, of Redding died at home Saturday, October 3, 2009, of cancer. Dan was born on September 23, 1949, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was a log scaler. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Karen; brother Michael and sister Ona; son Dan and daughter-in-law Stacey; sons Sol, Josh and Jon; daughter Amber and son-in-law Jason; daughter April and son-in-law Ben; and grandchildren Gage, Kian, Mark, Maya, Savannah, Chloee and Brayden. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Karen; brother Michael and sister Ona; son Dan and daughter-in-law Stacey; sons Sol, Josh and Jon; daughter Amber and son-in-law Jason; daughter April and son-in-law Ben; and grandchildren Gage, Kian, Mark, Maya, Savannah, Chloee and Brayden.

Throughout his life Dan was a surfer, a guitar player, a hunter, a skydiver, a golfer, and got a lot out of life. But above all, he loved Jesus Christ and existed to live as a witness for Him.
